Get well soon card

I used the Doctor cut out from the Teddy Bear Parade Cartridge. I cut the teddy at 3inches. The 'get well soon' words and the 'laughter is the best medicine' words were cut on Cricut Craft room basics. The label for the words came from the Cricut Font and Basic Shapes Cartridge. The syringe I draw free hand. The blue pattern behind the teddy was made with Clarity Stamps corner, printed several times next to each other to make the square or diamond shape. It was stamped with Adirondack Stonewashed. See details

I bought the mini from JoAnn's online because it was exclusive to them thinking it would be a mini version of my full size original cricut cake machine, I was sadly disappointed. It will not cut anything, not fondant, not gum paste, not even the cricut sheets, the pressure is off and nothing you do will get it to work correctly. I even had my original out and put them side by side using the same conditions to make sure it wasn't user error, my original continued to work fine but the mini, absolutely terrible! Asked in store if I could exchange but they refused as it came through their online store and the shipping costs back and forth just isn't worth it to see if it's a one off issue or if they're all that way. If you're looking for a cricut cake machine, stick with the original, at least with practice it works.

I haven't had any experience with the cake cutter, however, i had a item that i bought from hsn that wasn't working right. I called cricut direct and they were WONDERFUL and replaced the item. Sorry Joann didn't help you, but wanted to give you a heads up to contact Cricut directly and see if you get better results. Good Luck! p.s it made me give a rating to post so I thought middle of ground was the fairest rating as I don't have the cake cutter.

Great Machine

I absolutely love my Mini! I make cupcakes and decorate cakes and this little machine is perfect. It cuts everything perfectly, to include slices of cheese! I haven't had any problems with it and I am more than satisfied with it's performance.

Fabulous! Love It!

I love this machine! It makes cake decorating so much easier... and faster! It does take a little practice figuring out, but once you do it really does make a good finished product. My only complaint is with the booklet for the cartridges. It's not user friendly in my opinion and in too many languages. The name make you think you are getting something small. It still takes up a bunch of space.I am very happy with my cricut cake mini. :)

I love the Cricut Cake Mini. I have used it lots for cupcakes and cakes, and it never fails to impress. I love it so much that I just bought the full size Cricut Cake. I love the portability of the Cricut Cake Mini.
